JANET SNEDDON

Janet SneddonBACP Person Centred Counsellor, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Hypnotherapist. Member BACP.

As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I offer counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy to individuals as well as providing clinical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors.

I tailor the therapy I offer to meet each person’s needs by offering a discounted introductory session where I can spend time understanding what you want from counselling, answering any questions you may have and enabling us to start getting to know each other..

If you’re wondering if working with me could help you may want to ask yourself whether;

  • life can feel like an uphill battle?
  • there are difficult issues from your past that you want to resolve?
  • life sometimes has no clear direction?
  • you want to change any unhealthy behaviours or coping strategies?
  • you would like some support in achieving your life goals?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above then I can provide you with the supportive, confidential and non-judgemental environment to help you explore and work through your issues and achieve your goals.  Taking the first step to ask for support can sometimes be difficult but, as the following comments from previous clients show, it can also be extremely worthwhile.

“I felt very reassured after my first session that I’d made the correct decision”

“Counselling provided me with the time and space I needed to put things into perspective and learn how to cope”

“Having someone really listen made such a difference.  Thank you.”

“As a result of counselling I worked through bereavement and put family matters and relationships into context”

  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Eating Disorders
  • Self-Esteem
  • Bereavement and loss

I offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments at the Worsley Centre
