Kathryn Warren Psychotherapist/Counsellor MBACP (Accred.); BA (Hons)

What to expect:

You can expect a safe space where you can be yourself and express your real thoughts and feelings without being judged. I will support you to explore your place in the world, and to consider the possible causes of the obstacles in your life. Together we will work towards finding a way forward for you to make your life more satisfying.

Common issues:

People come to see me for a whole host of reasons. These include relationship difficulties, loneliness and isolation, guilt and shame, feeling low, feeling anxious, childhood trauma, painful memories, and unhealthy patterns of behaviour.

About me:

I am a qualified counsellor/ psychotherapist and an accredited member of BACP, and I have been in private practice since 2004.  I engage in regular supervision and Continuing Professional Development.  I work with curiosity, open-mindedness, and dedication to achieving each desired outcome.  I also work in mental health at Manchester University and MMU, supporting young people facing the challenges of university life, such as academic pressure, loneliness, and issues around identity and friendships. I am divorced and have two children.

Sessions are weekly, last for 50 minutes, and are charged at £45.
